Action Expresses Priorities

02 Jun Action Expresses Priorities

When we get so busy chasing the dollar, priorities get misconstrued and before we know it, our actions speak louder than words on an unhappy life.

Sometimes we have to realize that in order to be successful, it needs to be holistic, not balanced, in order to be happy. Living a balanced life is phony. Instead, to live a counterbalanced life shows that when specific focus is put onto something, even if it means putting other things aside for a time, that one item can be truly completed and then we can get back to finding a balance in another direction. This keeps us constantly in motion.

It’s not about what is most productive; it’s about relationships and keeping them up as top priority. Always.

LESSON FOR THE DAY

As we get busy in our jobs, hobbies and responsibilities, don’t forget the relationships that matter the most. It’s about relationships that you want to be around during the holidays, or when you get old and need help. What are you doing to build your own relationships? How do you show that they matter to you?

ABOUT THE SHOW NOTES

LEARN A LITTLE ABOUT NATALIE:

A life-long learner and unashamed history nerd, Natalie is a certified teacher in secondary education history and English turned stay at home mom. She is the mother of four energetic children all two years apart from 8 to 2 and recently celebrated her 11th wedding anniversary with the only boyfriend she ever had. After the kiddies are put to bed, she writes show notes as she continues to ignite her passion for writing and editing, fact checking and learning to make the world wide web a more educated place. When we learn that more gets accomplished when we replace “can’t” with “can” so many possibilities are opened to us. In the words of Rosie the Riveter, “We can do it!”
